I was born and raised in Enumclaw, Washington.  I loved growing up in a small town and I am happy to call Enumclaw now home.  Our small community has so many great things to offer.  I have been very competitive and love to be active in sports from volleyball, golf, tennis, basketball and my first love Football.

After graduating from Enumclaw High School I took a football scholarship to play at Central Washington University.   I played two years of Football at CWU and retired to travel.  The summer of 2004 I traveled with my family to Eastern Europe to pick my sister up from a LDS Mission and from then on I had the travel bug.  The summer of 2006 I lived in London where I was part of a study abroad program and the summer of 2007 I backpacked through Europe for the summer.   I graduated from CWU with a Bachelors Degree in Business with a focus in Marketing.

My family owns a Chevrolet, and Buick (Pontiac RIP) Dealership.  It has been family owned and operated for 40+ years.  I am a third generation Gamblin and hope to one day continue the legacy of the company.  I currently work in the Internet Department where www.gamblinmotors.com is my life.  I work on our website and most likely you will get an email from me.  I love the challenges of what the Internet world has to offer and how it is constantly evolving as it truly is a passion of mine.

Since being back in Enumclaw the past couple of years I have been very involved with Enumclaw High School Football.  I have coached the past couple of years and due to work I have had to retire my whistle.  I am now on the Enumclaw Football Foundation Board of Directors.  I really miss being a football coach and being around the players.  Coaching is my passion along with Enumclaw.

I was married on August 7, 2009 to the most amazing person in the whole world Sophia Oona Gamblin. I love being married and spending time with my wife.  We are very competitive and love traveling and experiencing new things. We currently live in Enumclaw and have our Golden Doodle “Winnie”

    Hi Tyson,

I have been reading your blog and enjoying it. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage, you fiance is lovely.
I noticed you said you were a 3rd generation Gamblin, you are actually about a 12th generation. Gamblins including your line came to America about 1636 and can be traced back positivly to 1700, then it’s a bit hit and miss. If you ever want to know more, please feel free to contact me.

    Hi,

I was wondering where you got the pic on your blog of the Bugatti Veyron? I’m hoping to get a copy so I can use it for a poster.

    Thanks,

    AS
